We are seeking assistance with preparations for a "catalogue raisonné" and an exhibition aiming to reassemble the destroyed monuments  of the famous Densatil monastery
 

We would very much appreciate photographs or informations about any pieces even small, burnt or damaged in private or pubic collections coming or reputed coming from this very important centre of tibetan art.

 

 

Many pieces are often appearing on the market under the abusive attribution of provenance from the famous Densathil monastery. Most of them are not showing neither stylistic nor technical, or iconographical or chronological specific elements.

 

Do not hesitate to send us your pictures. By the way, you will help us to enlarge our database, and we will be able to give you our opinion based upon over 15 years of research on this wonderful and important field for the art and history of Tibet.
